We want to thank you for your support of our precious work. Your continued conviction and passion for our cause is moving, and it inspires us to continue in our efforts to serve the needs of local sex-trafficking survivors.

As a board, we recently made the decision to join the Compassion First family to sustain and strengthen our core operations and the sustainability of our organization. House of Engedi is now the local extension of the work Compassion First is already doing globally, and we couldn’t be more excited to join with them to see the establishment of the highest quality aftercare and advocacy we can offer.

With this new direction comes change. House of Engedi will be closing our doors for a season in order to hire and train a highly skilled care team and to do the necessary development to guarantee a bright future for our work. That said, we will continue to meet the needs of the local survivors through local response teams assisting girls and women wanting to leave the commercial sex trade and providing accompanied referral to partnered programs until the House of Engedi reopens.
